Brady Burney (formerly Prescott) was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Counseling. Brady holds licensure in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is also certified and utilizes EMDR therapy.
Brady has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her desire is to create safe relationships where clients can express issues, feelings, and emotional responses to life experiences. Brady holds a true passion to help clients process and heal from various forms of trauma. Other aspects of her counseling utilize art, music, creativity, and nature. Brady has training in trauma-informed care, crisis and intervention prevention, choice theory, reality therapy, suicide, opioid, behavioral learning, abuse, adventure, arts, and techniques in play therapy.
Outside of helping others, Brady loves traveling with her husband, hosting game nights, being active in her church, hiking, and being outdoors. Her positive energy and fun-loving personality is contagious and pours into her therapeutic techniques.
We serve all age ranges of clientele, 4 and up. Sessions are usually 45-50 minutes but can be scheduled longer if a more intensive approach is preferred by the client.Book an Appointment
