Billy earned a Bachelors degree in Religion and Music from Eastern New Mexico University in 1997. After time in youth ministry, and 16 years as a railroad engineer, he went back to school and earned a Masters of Social Work degree from New Mexico Highlands and a Master of Arts degree in Spiritual Formation from Northwest Nazarene University.

Since then, Billy has worked as a School Counselor, working with students and their parents. He is known for his unique ability to connect with all adolescents, but has the same connection with all ages. He brings a light-hearted, enthusiastic energy and humor to his sessions with clients. The adolescent demographic is a clientele Billy develops rapport with quickly and greatly desires to help them shape their identity and develop skills, confidence, and goals that will help them to grow into a healthy young adult.

He has a huge heart for the journey of men in all stages of their life, and for marriages and how couples can  overcome major obstacles, including infidelity and mid-life issues. It is a passion for him to come along side men, supporting and believing in them to overcome and heal from transitions or obstacles.

Billy is in love with his wife, his two children and three gorgeous grandchildren, working with wood, sports, especially baseball (Let’s go, Red Sox), guitars and playing them on the Worship team at his church.

Billy is licensed as a Master of Social Worker by the State of Texas and New Mexico and supervised by Don Morris – LCSW-S, LCDC.
